Thanksgiving Eve Worship and Pie Social
Wednesday, November 26, 7:00pm
Please join us on Wednesday, November 26,
for Thanksgiving Eve worship at 7:00pm. You are invited to bring non-perishable
donations for the food shelf (or you may choose to give a monetary gift
to the food shelffor every $1 you give, the food shelf is able
to purchase $5 worth of food). The sanctuary is beautifully decorated
for Thanksgivingthe quilters work hard all year making quilts
to give to local shelters and other ministries, and they are draped
on all of the pews for the service. Bring your family and friends to
worship, and join us in the Fellowship Hall after the service for pie
and coffee. Come and give thanks!
Pie and coffee are served by the youth in grades
4 - 12. Please sign-up to volunteer!
Advent Event: Sunday, November 30,

Please join us for our annual Advent Event
in the Fellowship Hall at 9:35am on November 30th. We will do crafts
that are designed to help us kick-off the advent season.
All adults, youth and families are welcome!
Advent Dinner: Saturday, December
6, 4:30-7:00pm
Looking for an evening out, a good dinner
and a way to support the youth at CPLC? Youth in grades 4-12 will be
putting on the Advent Dinner to raise funds for summer camp and missions
trips. Invite family, friends and neighbors to come and support our
youth! Dinner will include Swedish meatballs and ham, rice pudding and
many other wonderful items! Dinner will be served from 4:30-7:00pm.
Tickets are $7 per adult, $4 per child and $20 per family (with 2 adults
and children under 12-children 13 and older are adult price).

Needed
The youth of CPLC will again sponsor the Advent Dinner
on December 6, from 4:30 - 7:00pm. This annual event offers the opportunity
for all members and friends of CPLC to join in an evening of fellowship
while helping our youth raise funds for mission trips and Camp Wapo.
Sign-up sheets are at the Welcome Desk for the following:
*Youth sign-up sheet
for working the dinner.
*Sign-up sheet for food donations.
The more food that is donated for the dinner, the more
money the youth will raise to help with funding for mission trips and
camps.
K-5 Event: Cookie Baking & Decorating
Sunday, December 7, 12:00 - 3:00pm
Fellow cookie bakers and eaters: please join the K-5
group in the Fellowship Hall from Noon to 3:00pm for cookie baking,
decorating, fun and fellowship! The dough will be provided, but we could
use an assortment of decorations for this artistic and hungry group.
To get an idea of how much dough to make, please RSVP Polly Heaton by
Friday, December 5. You can leave her a message at 651 489-8422 or e-mail

Sunday School Christmas Program
Saturday, December 13, 4:00pm, & Sunday, December 14, 8:30am
The Sunday School youth have been practicing their songs
in Sunday School for the program. Show up for dress rehearsal on Saturday,
December 13, at 9:00am, to be a part of the program. All ages are welcome,
including Sr. High youth - we'd love to have you!
Children's Choirs: Rehearsal and Caroling
Wednesday, December 17, 6:00-7:15pm
The Joyful Singers and the Choristers will be having
a combined rehearsal from 6:00-6:30pm on Wednesday, December 17. They
will then go caroling and have treats from 6:30-7:15pm. Please join
us for some Christmas fun!
